British Vogue Editor Alexandra Shulman supports Oxford Fashion Week

Alexandra Shulman OBE, Editor of British Vogue, has spoken in support of Oxford Fashion Week.

Shulman said: “I’m delighted that a city with such a rich cultural history is also embracing fashion, and I wish the second Oxford Fashion Week all the best.”

Shulman has presided over the British edition of Vogue since 1992, overseeing a circulation increase to 200,000 and a higher profile for the publication. She has also written for The Daily Telegraph and the Daily Mail. She is one of the UK’s most important fashion figures.

Last year, Shulman spoke at the Oxford Union, where she was met with an enthusiastic response from fashion-forward students.

I am so excited about the upcoming Fashion Week in Oxford! It’s great to see the Fashion scene hitting Oxford and most importantly, students coming together with excellent ideas to create such a fun, innovative fashion week!
