Ms. O on Lady Gaga’s frog-inspired fashion…

So Lady Gaga has revealed on Oprah that her Kermit the Frog dress is a statement against fur in fashion. Firstly, why is she comparatively normal on American TV but can’t string a coherent sentence together on Jonathan Ross?

More importantly, Gaga joins an ever growing list of fur hypocrites. What do you think is more harmful for animals: the killing of rabbits for a jacket or her worldwide Monsters Ball tour, churning out those deadly carbon gasses and killing our precious polar bears? OK, you can argue that she doesn’t want to glorify an animal’s death, but she doesn’t care about sporting a leather onesie or munching on a massive steak (see Oprah again). She still hasn’t found a use for her £50,000 X Factor bath tub either.

Problem is, I love Gaga and also don’t really want my pop stars to have coherent political views. Also, that dress is fabulous. Long live Gaga.
